The 44-year-old actress and her adorable 16-year-old Maya Thurman-Hawke attended The Theory of Everything premiere last night in NYC at the Museum of Modern Art.
The mother-daughter duo looked like the spitting image of each other as they posed for pics side-by-side, and clearly, Maya has inherited her mama's blue eyes, blond hair and delicate skin.
Both Uma and her daughter appeared in good spirits, smiling for the cameras as the Pulp Fiction star wrapped her arm around her darling daughter, who was dressed cute and casual in a pretty blue dress paired with a gold pendant necklace. Meanwhile, her famous mama rocked a black turtleneck, jacket and blue jeans, opting for a cozy ensemble to accompany her little girl on the red carpet.
Maya is Uma's oldest daughter from her first marriage to actor Ethan Hawke. The two, who separted after five years of marriage in 2003, also have a son together, 12-year-old Levon Roan.
In July 2012, the Kill Bill star gave birth to her third child, Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence Thurman-Busson (Luna for short), with Arpad Busson. The former couple was engaged at the time, but split barely two years after welcoming their little one.
And while her toddler's name may be mouthful, Uma credits her 16-year-old offspring with choosing little Luna's moniker.
"[Maya] came up with the best excuse, [which] was that I probably wouldn't get to have any more children, so I just put every name I liked into [Luna's]," the proud parent admitted during an interview with Jimmy Fallon.
Like mother, like daughter, indeed!
