Anyone else see a bonafide TV acting career coming for Courtney Love? Anyone? Anyone?

Well, it's happening!

Just weeks after making her TV debut on FX's Sons of Anarchy, the Hole rocker has been cast on Lee Daniels' new TV series for Fox, Empire, as a recurring guest star. She'll play Elle Dallas, a "hard rock powerhouse," according to the show's reps.

Other guest stars will include Naomi Campbell, Cuba Gooding Jr., Gabourey Sibide and Judd Nelson.

The series, which stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson, is a family drama set in the world of a hip-hope empire, and it's slated to premiere January 2015.

Love made her TV debut Oct. 2 on Sons on Anarchy, playing—we are totally not kidding here—a preschool teacher, for Jax's (Charlie Hunnam) son, and so far, has been pretty great in the role.

So...We suppose we'll co-sign on this new career direction. You?

We should mention, though, Love is not giving up on the whole music thing either. Just getting more...creative. Courtney is starring in a new "experimental opera" called Kansas City Boys choir, which will air as part of the Prototype: Opera/Theater/Now festival in Manhattan.

"I love the concept, and I'm loving the music," she told The New York Times. "I'm playing it constantly. I'm looking to do things that are different."

Guess so. See you on Fox!
