Want to see Jake Gyllenhaal get wet and wild?
You're in luck, because on Wednesday's Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Nightcrawler star did just that! At first, the 33-year-old hunk was apprehensive about taking on the late-night host in a game of "Water War," but with some encouragement, he dove right in.
"We're playing the card game War, but if you lose the hand, you get a pint of water in the face," Jimmy, 40, explained. "We each have five glasses of water. The first one to throw all five glasses of water on their opponent wins..."
Jake pretended to be skeptical, telling Jimmy, "This is weird....You're creeping me out." But he took the plunge anyway. Then, after both players drew the same card first up, a giggling Jake took a pitcher of water to the face!
Soon, though, he became absorbed in the competition himself and got serious with his late-night opponent. Jake appeared to rejoice when he got to hurl a pint of water at Jimmy's face, and as the fellas played on, tensions continued to increase!
Both Jake and Jimmy fought on, each getting to soak the other time after time. As things intensified, their laughter turned into shouts and a playful screaming match, before, ultimately, both guys gave in to the giggles once more.
