It's the best holiday of the year...Halloween! (OK, maybe it's a toss up between Halloween and Christmas.)

While we're busy getting our amazing costumes together to look like one of these recent TV characters, we know that no matter how perfect our Slutty Walter White get-up is, we'll never beat some of the best costumes we've ever seen...where else? On TV!

From the iconic Conner family's ghoulish costumes on Roseanne to the more recent creative couple on Marry Me, we've rounded up some of TV's top contenders for Best Dressed: Special Halloween Edition! Check out the finalists below and then vote in our poll to let us know who you think had the best Halloween costume ever!

Friends, "The One With The Halloween Party"

When Chandler, dressed in a giant, fuzzy, pink bunny suit isn't the worst costume in the room, that's when you know it's a great Friends Halloween. Who could ever forget Ross' giant potato...aka "Spud-nik?" And Monica and Phoebe as Catwoman and Supergirl were pretty fantastic.

Freaks And Geeks, "Tricks And Treats"

Three words for you: The Bionic Woman. How amazing is Bill's costume? It's kind of iconic now. Neal went from Chaplin to Groucho Marx and Sam was Gort from The Day the Earth Stood Still. Has there ever been a wider variety of gloriously geeky costumes? The answer: No. We love you Freaks and Geeks.

Community, "Epidemiology"

The Greendale gang always knew how to go all in when it came to Halloween and "Epidemiology" was no exception. From Jeff's egotistical David Beckham costume to Britta's Tyrannosaurus Rex, Annie's Little Red Riding Hood, Shirley's Glinda the Good Witch, Pierce's Captain Kirk, Troy's first costume as Ripley in lift suit and later as "sexy Dracula," Abed's Alien, Chang's Peggy Fleming, and Dean Pelton's Lady Gaga, we were so distracted by the epic costumes that we almost missed the zombie apocalypse storyline! (Just kidding, no we didn't. This was one of our fave Community episodes ever!)

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, "Halloween"

Buffy picked a bad year to dress as a damsel-in-distress, since all the costumes everyone bought were cursed, and they spent all of Halloween thinking they really were who they dressed as! That meant the usually kick-butt Buffy was—gasp!—helpless! On the flip side, Xander was totally badass as an army man and Willow never looked hotter.

Roseanne, "Boo"

Every other sitcom needs to bow down to Roseanne Halloween episodes. "Boo" was the first in a series of memorable Halloween episodes for the classic sitcom and you know what they say, nothing tops the original. The Conner family came together and were truly ghoulish. These costumes are great.

Modern Family, "Halloween"

Now a tradition, Modern Family Halloween episodes are usually some of the show's best. The costumes in this episode, the show's first Halloween special, revealed Claire's love of Halloween. We had Mitchell as Spider-Man, trapped in the bathroom. Gloria as a witch trying to hide her accent and Hayley as Mother Theresa in a super-short dress. When you think Modern Family Halloween, you think of this episode.

Marry Me, "Scary Me"

A recent entry into great Halloween costumes, we have Zombie Lucy and Zombie Ricky from I Love Lucy. Sure Jake is clueless when it comes to Ricky Ricardo catchphrases, but these costumes are pretty genius.

Two and a Half Men, "The Ol' Mexican Spinach"

We're going meta here, people. In Pretty in Pink, Jon Cryer played Duckie. In Two and a Half Men, Cryer's Alan is dressed like Duckie…and looks like he's barely aged. He's a wizard. And that's Ashton Kutcher's Walden as Zombie Elvis Presley because why not.

The Office, "Halloween"

As boring as Dunder Mifflin seemed on a normal day, at least they all got into the Halloween spirit! Well, except Jim's Facebook "costume."

How I Met Your Mother, "The Slutty Pumpkin"

Ted's plan of wearing the same Hanging Chad costume to the same Halloween party every year to try to find the Slutty Pumpkin again finally paid off when she showed up in the same costume...and it was Katie Holmes! Plus, that year Robin and Barney were arguing over which country was better, Canada or the US, so their patriotic costumes were hilarious.

NBC

Parks and Rec, "Halloween Surprise"

If anyone was going to dress up as Rosie the Riveter, it had to be Leslie Knope. Hands down, she is the perfect Rosie. And Ann's McKayla Maroney? We were very impressed.

Pretty Little Liars, "Grave New World"

These little liars always know how to kick Halloween's butt when it comes to dressing up, and we don't know how they find the time while constantly dodging A's death threats! This year the girls dressed in their finest 19th century garb, perfect for running through tunnels underneath a graveyard!
