Lily Allen has some things to say.

The cover star of Marie Claire Mexico's November issue looked majestic as she donned different shades of purple and pink tresses, a regal suit and worked a flawless face in the mag's spread, but the outspoken celeb also shared her feelings on a variety of topics—including the way our culture deals with fame (hint: she's not a fan).

"I think the way that we consume celebrities is pretty disgusting," Allen candidly states.

She also admits that she's kind of a control freak. "I am so controlling, I don't like handing over the control of my career to other people so I have to do it myself."

And when it comes to her work in the music industry, Allen believes honesty is the best policy (oh, and no selfie-mentality).

"I try to be as honest with myself as I possibly can be and hope that comes across with my music," she says. "Taking selfies is not how you really look like, is what you want other people to think you look like. That's what I try to apply to my music; not to take selfies."

But she also believes that ruffling people's feathers can sometimes be a good thing, explaining to Marie Claire Mexico that, "If you are not pissing people off then you are not doing it right."

Lily definitely got some people talking last night after she was spotted wearing a controversial costume to Kate Hudson's Halloween party in L.A.

The 29-year-old singer's Halloween getup consisted of teal doctor's scrubs that showed off her midriff and a stethoscope around her neck with shiny slip-on shoes and a bag. Allen's costume was completed with a nametag that read "Dr. Luke, Gynecology Department" pinned to her shirt.

We'll give you a second...

Still don't get it? Allen's costume was poking fun at music producer Dr. Luke, who is currently involved in a nasty legal battle with singer Kesha after the singer accused Luke of sexual assault, among other allegations.

Yikes!
