Hayden Panettiere's Fiancé Wladimir Klitschko Opens Up About the Birth of His Daughter

Boxer welcomed his first child just a few days ago

It's been a whirlwind year for Hayden Panettiere and her fiancé, Wladimir Klitschko.

The professional boxer took to Instagram to reflect on 2014 just days after the Nashville star gave birth to their first child together, a baby girl named Kaya Klitschko.

"A review on the year: The birth of my daughter, two successful championship defenses and many other achievements on the way," he began by writing alongside a photo of himself.

"It was a great year and I'm looking forward to 2015. I'm ready to take on new challenges!"

Shortly after the arrival of their little bundle of joy over the weekend, the happy couple told People magazine that they were "over the moon and madly in love."

And just a few weeks prior to giving birth, the now-new mama opened up about how excited she was for her future arrival.

"I'm so ready to hold my baby girl—I'm going to be a very hands on mom," she explained to Hello! magazine. "I'm thrilled that I am having a girl first because I feel like I know a lot about raising a strong woman. I feel very empowered myself and I think my daughter will, too."

She also shared how she's completely confident in her partner's parenthood skills, and can't wait to watch him become a dad.

"He's such a resilient guy. He's so calm and patient," Panettiere dished. "I have never even heard this man raise a voice." So sweet!
