Lily Ghalichi may have pulled a fast one on April Fool's, but this is no joke.

The Shahs of Sunset star announced that she and her entrepreneur fiancé Dhar Mann have split and called off their engagement.

"I want to take a moment to say that I have in fact ended my relationship with my fiancé. He is a great man, and I wish him the best in life," Ghalichi wrote on Instagram alongside a sweet PDA photo of the former couple.

"After being with someone that lied to and cheated on me, it was so nice to be with someone as honest and loving as he was. For the first time in my life, I truly felt loved, appreciated, and respected. I will forever cherish our time together for those reasons, and so many more."

She continued, "Relationships are hard, very hard, and more often than not, they don't work. As much as my heart hurts right now, I know that every ending is a new beginning. Rather than commenting speculations and demanding information, we would both appreciate some personal space from our fans on the matter so that our hearts can heal."

Lily shared a collage of pictures—including one that featured a huge diamond ring—on her Instagram account on April Fool's and wrote, "Engaged!!!!!!!!!!"

The 30-year-old Bravolebrity shared a second picture on the social networking site (which has since been deleted) and told her followers, "For those of you that think it's an April fools joke, so did I at first when he got on one knee!! That was his whole plan, he's so funny, romantic and crazy like that."

"My boyfriend, Dhar, actually proposed to me two weeks ago when we were on vacation in the Maldives," Ghalichi told E! News exclusively at the time. "He rented this tiny island for us to have dinner at. There was a chef and a waiter and the only thing on this island is a little table for two. It was super romantic. He proposed to me there, but he didn't have a ring. I was like, 'Then it doesn't count. I want a ring.'"

"We didn't tell anyone else about the proposal," she adds. "We just kept it to ourselves."

Obviously, he did end up giving her a ring and it was an amazing 12-carat ring sparkler.

Ghalichi and Mann have known each other since June 2013, but the future spouses didn't begin dating until January 2014.

(E! and Shahs of Sunset are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
