After performing on Saturday Night Live, Harry Styles didn't exactly know what to expect when he headed to the show's official after-party held at Buddakan.
But low and behold, guess who else was in attendance? Kristen Wiig!
After making a surprise appearance during Weekend Update with Fred Armisen, the Bridesmaids star and SNL alumna decided to have a little fun with the One Direction member.
Cue the music: These two are ready to dance!
As soon as Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes' classic hit "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" begins playing, the twosome immediately pump up the crowd with their impromptu dance party.
In a variety of videos, the duo is caught hugging, dancing and laughing as they bust out into song during the ‘80s classic. New celebrity BFFs? Oh, we can only hope!
"Always lovely being at @nbcsnl," Styles shared on Twitter before showtime. "Should be a funny night. Hope you enjoy.x" Ummm, we're practically obsessed with this adorable viral video!
What makes this pairing even more special is the fact that Wiig has impersonated the former X-Factor U.K. contestant before.
Earlier this year, Wiig did her best rendition of the Hollywood heartthrob on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. People loved it so much that Styles' mum Anne Cox even expressed her approval by tweeting "brilliant!"
Looks like a new friendship has formed just in time for the new year!
