Is there anything Gwyneth Paltrow can't do?
The Academy Award winner has previously proven that she can rap N.W.A.'s "Straight Outta Compton" like a boss, and on Wednesday, the Mortdecai actress performed Broadway versions of current hip-hop hits. Back by Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon on piano, Paltrow put her own spin on three rap songs: Drake's "Started From the Bottom," Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" and Big Sean's "I Don't F--k With You."

Earlier in the show, Paltrow recalled her days at Spence School, a private girls' academy in New York City. The actress was in an a capella singing group called Triple Trio, because there were nine members; underclassman Kerry Washington was a big fan. "It was like a really cute barbershop quartet, but nine-tet—however you say that!" Paltrow said with a laugh. "We would sing 'Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.' We would sing Billy Joel's a capella song, 'The Longest Time.' That was my audition song for the group."
Paltrow's family moved from California to New York when she was 11 years old, and her own daughter, Apple Martin, is 10 years old. "She's so big now," the Country Strong actress marveled. "It goes so fast."
During her own teen years, Paltrow said, she "snuck out of the house."
"We used to like to go to the steps of the Metropolitan Museum at night, because we were too young to get into bars," she remembered. "The boys would skateboard and we would smoke and drink Bartles & Jaymes wine coolers—the peach wine coolers!" When Paltrow snuck out, however, she did something unusual: "I would leave a note for my parents on my bed in case they caught me in the middle of the night, because I didn't want them to worry that something really bad had happened," she said.
"You're such a nerd!" Fallon said with a laugh.
What did her note say?
"I'm really sorry. I'm feeling rebellious and I snuck out. It's the first time I've ever done this," she said. "I've never done this before and if you catch me you can punish me in the morning but I'm out drinking Bartels & Jaymes wine coolers. They never caught me so I just reused the same note every Friday night!"
