When Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray split, fans of The Bachelorette were taken by complete surprise! Even host Chris Harrison was thrown for a loop when they announced their breakup, but in hindsight, he said he knew something was up.

Speaking to On Air With Ryan Seacrest, the reality show's host dished that he figured something was up because of the way they were acting with each other prior to coming clean about their relationship status.

"I knew things were a little off," he said. "They were being a little awkward and weird. But you know, they're from Georgia. You know those people," he joked.

Like most people, however, he was still surprised when they mutually released a statement that read, "After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it's best for both of us to go our separate ways." In addition to being blindsided, Harrison also revealed that he felt like they should have mentioned something to him so he didn't put them in an "awkward" position.

"(A) I was shocked, and (B) I was a little disappointed because I wish they just said something to me," he said. "I never would've put them in that awkward of a position and talked about their wedding date had I known they were on the rocks."

Harrison said that he has spoken to Andi since calling off the wedding, but as a friend and not in a TV show capacity, but he hopes to hear both sides of the story soon.

"I wasn't pumping her for information," he told Ryan Seacrest. "But hopefully I'll sit down with one or both of them at some point."

Andi took to Instagram to give a shout-out to her support system for getting her through this tough time, posting a quote that reads, "It's family and friends who pick us up when we fall down. And if they can't pick us up, they lie down next to us and just listen and love."

It sounds like she has a good head on her shoulders and a great team behind her!
