This look is certainly something different

Bryan Cranston kicked off the SAG Awards with the first awards presentation, but it was his interesting facial hair that ended up turning heads.

The actor took the stage to announce the nominees for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series and simultaneously debuted a brand new moustache design. Think of it as part Fu Manchu, part soul patch. Cranston was one of the many men who jumped on the heavy beard bandwagon at this month's Golden Globes, and it appears he quickly tired of the scruffy look. Perhaps he's feeling a little nostalgic for the late, great Walter White?

And, it appears we aren't the only ones who noticed the funky change—tons of viewers took to Twitter to discuss Cranston's look. Some were mesmerized, some were confused, and some were, well, turned on.

The reaction was almost enough to overshadow Uzo Aduba's big win for her work on Orange is the New Black. You know, the reason that Bryan Cranston was up on stage in the first place? So, as funny as The Beard is, we've also got to give it up for Aduba and her brand new Actor statue.
