Bling, bling!

If you got it, flaunt it…right?

Such was not the case at the 2015 SAG Awards. The typically low-key awards show saw mild makeup, effortless-looking hair and little to no accessories, particularly on the jewelry front.

In fact, a number of stars—including Maggie Gyllenhaal, Lupita Nyong'o and Rashida Jones—decided to go sans neckpieces despite their plunging necklines. To be fair, the lack of neckwear did emphasize the beauty and design of their gowns.

All was not totally lost, however, as some bling did catch our eyes.

Last year's 2014 ear cuff trend is still apparently going strong. Unlike its predecessors, this year's crop was less obvious, proving the strength of the less-is-more aesthetic. Instead of overcoming the ear with jewels and gems, Emma Stone and Keira Knightley's edgier iterations just ever-so-slightly accentuated the ear. On the other spectrum, Tatiana Maslany's diamond variation brought a glamorous balance to her modern Oscar de la Renta gown.

Because necklaces were few and far between, and earrings were on the discreet side, rings definitely stole the show. Celebs were sporting such big, round pieces that we almost forgot to check out their manis. Natalie Dormer, Sophia Bush and Sarah Hyland flaunted their rings pops, showing everyone that come awards season, go big or go home.

Now that's a statement we can get behind.
