Apparently, there's already enough sibling rivalry in the Kidman-Urban household.
E! News caught up with the 47-year-old star at the Sundance Film Festival on Friday while she was promoting her forthcoming movie Strangerland, and the mother of four was asked if her two daughters with husband Keith Urban—Faith, 4, and Sunday, 6—are hoping for mom and dad to expand their family.
"No, they don't want any competition," the Grace of Monaco star said with a smile while looking effortlessly chic in a monochromatic polka dot ensemble.
"I asked them if they wanted [that] and they were like 'No, we're fine, actually'" she revealed before adding, "But they want a dog."
While Kidman's kids are perfectly happy with a family of four, the Oscar winner recently admitted that she would love to have more children with her husband of eight years.
"I mean, I hope every month that I'm pregnant, so there we go. But I never am," she confessed during a chat with Australian radio station KIIS 1065. "I would be jumping for joy if I was. It won't happen. No! I'm 47, it won't happen."
She then added: "Well, my grandmother had her last baby at 49. So, you never know."
Kidman is a mother of four children, one of whom she gave birth to herself. She has an adopted son and daughter with ex-husband Tom Cruise and two daughters with Urban. She delivered their eldest, Sunday Rose, in 2008 at age 41, while their youngest, Margaret Faith, was born to a gestational carrier in 2010.
