Since she's been gone from the recording studio, our iTunes library just hasn't been the same.

But the wait is over: Kelly Clarkson is back, and her sixth studio album, Piece by Piece, is dropping on March 3.

RCA Records announced the good news today, the release date coming along with the debut of the lyric video for the proud new mom's latest single, "Heartbeart Song"—which you can watch right here.

Oh, and not only was "Heartbeat Song" a must-download when it dropped earlier this month, it turns out that actual heartbeats—the peaks and valleys belonging to Kelly and three of her fans—are featured in the lyric video.

In a behind-the-scenes video also posted today, Kelly shows that she and several others are hooked up to pocket UCG monitor, the results of which were printed out and used for the video.

You know, to give it that little extra ba-boom of authenticity!

Piece by Piece is Clarkson's first studio album since 2011's Stronger, though she did release the holiday collection Wrapped in Red in 2013.

Since then, the pop star has married Brandon Blackstock and birthed a baby, daughter River Rose—so what we're most looking forward to is seeing how Kelly's life-changing milestones have influenced her new batch of tunes.
