Analeigh Tipton Got "Really Drunk," Gave Herself a Pixie Cut

"I think every woman should cut their hair. It's very liberating and terrifying," Mississippi Grind actress says

Analeigh Tipton regrets nothing!

The 26-year-old Mississippi Grind star debuted a chic, super-short pixie cut earlier this year, and as it turns out, she's (at least partially) personally responsible for her drastically different 'do!

"I cut it myself really drunk one Sunday—true story," she told People at the 2015 Sundance Film Festval. "I was so excited!"

Analeigh wore her tresses in a mohawk the first day, but then "we got it fixed 'cause it had like giant chops," she told the mag with a laugh.

She's not really missing the long locks either. "I've always had really long hair and I was kind of sick of always feeling like I had to be a certain way when I'm not that way," she said.

"I think every woman should cut their hair," she added, telling People, "It's very liberating and terrifying."

It surely sounds like it, but word to the wise: If you're going to cut your own hair, do it sober! Tipsy tresses look fine on Analeigh, but not everyone's that lucky. Of course, it might not have been the end of the world if Analeigh had given herself a botched 'do.

Just few years ago, the America's Next Top Model alum told Teen Vogue, "I dress like a boy most of the time because I like what's comfortable, so sometimes when I have to wear dresses and makeup, it's kind of comedic....I take lots of pictures on my cell phone: 'Look, I'm dressed like a girl! Surprise!'"
