Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp Teaser Confirms What You've Been Hoping for

Netflix is getting all your favorite camp counselors together again

Get ready to go back to camp! Netflix officially confirmed the cast for Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, the prequel series to the cult-hit flick from 2001. Get ready because it includes all your favorites. Seriously, every single one of your favorite actors are in this new show.

Returning stars (in alphabetical order) include: Elizabeth Banks, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper, Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofalo, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Amy Poehler, David Hyde Pierce, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon and Michael Showalter.

Now that is some cast! And yes, they will be playing teens once again more than 14 years after the original movie.

The eight-episode limited series tells the story of the first day of Camp Firewood's summer season. David Wain will direct and co-write with Showalter. See a teaser below.

No premiere date has been set, but there are hints it will be here by summer 2015.

Previously reported new additions to the cast include Josh Charles, Jayma Mays, John Slattery, Michaela Watkins, Lake Bell, Paul Scheer, Rob Heubel, Richard Schiff and Randall Park.
