If you thought the Deflategate jokes were over, think again.
Here to take on the controversy (hilariously, of course) is the crew behind Hot Tub Time Machine 2. The franchise, which is known for its wacky and off-color jokes, chimed in to the discussion today with a balls-themed jab at Tom Brady and the Patriots. Alongside clips from the upcoming sequel, the narrator advises, "This big game weekend, Hot Tub Time Machine 2 reminds you: If you're gonna take on the Patriots, make sure their balls are fully inflated."
The whole thing is accompanied by cameos from Patriot Lou and, naturally, Adam Scott's crotch. Make that Adam Scott's crotch with, ahem, inflated balls.
Hot Tub Time Machine 2, the follow-up to the much-loved 2010 flick, chronicles the hilarious Craig Robinson and his cronies as they take another turn in the eponymous spa. This time there's a little twist, though. For starters, they've used their knowledge to become pop stars and technology tycoons. They also find themselves in the year 2024 in an attempt to save Lou from a mystery murderer. But fans of the first version will be happy to know the raunchy jokes exist even in the future.
HTTM2 hits theaters on February 20.
