Watch: Kyle Richards Breaks Down "Housewives" Fight With Brandi

If you've been tuning in to this season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, then you're well aware that both Kim Richards' sobriety, as well as her often contentious relationship with sister Kyle Richards, has reemerged as a storyline.

Last week's episode saw Kyle and co-star Brandi Glanville get into a brawl in Eileen Davidson's driveway following a dinner party at the soap star's home, where Kim, who underwent a stint in rehab in 2011, began exhibiting odd behavior.

Glanville, who has become close with Kim, jumped to her pal's side and was trying to help her leave without incident, but Kyle insisted upon talking to her sister, and an intoxicated Brandi got in the way.

Cue the pushing and shoving—as well as a piece of pizza flying—in a jaw-dropping scene that Kyle later described as "upsetting."

"When my sister said she was upset and I didn't know what it was and Brandi was clearly trying to keep me away from my sister and she was blocking me, I pushed her arm down to get to my sister," she told E! News in an interview on Wednesday which took place at her Beverly Hills clothing store, Kyle by Alene Too. "At that point, she lost her temper and then shoved me and then later grabbed both of my wrists."

Kyle continued, accusing Brandi of trying to come between herself and Kim.

"Even though it was very upsetting what happened, the physical part of it, that was not the most upsetting part of the night," she explained. "Nobody left with anything, no permanent damage on them, but what was the most upsetting was what she was trying to do with my sister and me. How she was trying to come between my sister and I, and clearly, she's trying to drive a wedge and it was working."

Kim first began exhibiting questionable behavior on the drive to Davidson's home with co-star Lisa Rinna. "I've only ever seen Kim very sweet, very clear, and she is f--ked up," Lisa said in her confessional.

Things only got worse when the ladies took a seat at the poker table (and Kim proceeded to drop a series of F-bombs) before later following her sister into the restroom and admitting, "I'm 100 percent in pain. Before I left the house, Monty (her ex-husband, who is currently living with the reality star while he battles cancer) gave me something...for the pain, that the doctor gave me, and I took it and that's it."

"Obviously sitting at the table, I could see that my sister was off, I didn't know what it was," Kyle told E! News. "And when she followed me into the bathroom, I was having what I thought was a private conversation. I kept telling her, 'Cover your microphone, cover your microphone' and whispering, but that's when she told me what she had done."

Meanwhile, the fallout from Brandi and Kyle's fight continued on Tuesday's episode in which we also learn that Kim has been placed in the hospital.

Although she has yet to discuss her hospitalization on the show, the former child star took to her Bravo blog to set the record straight about her sobriety.

"OK—now here's the back story to the whole poker night debacle. Before the poker party took place, I had been struggling with bronchitis and pneumonia for weeks," Kim wrote. "I took the pain medication from Monty thinking it can get me through the pain I was experiencing. Little did I know, it just made me kind of out of it! But seriously, if I knew the medication was going to affect me in a negative way, I would have NEVER taken it. Careless decision on my part—lesson learned!"

"In the next episode you will see that I end up in the hospital with major injuries due to being sick," she wrote. "But because of my history, some people will automatically assume one thing, even though they have seen nothing but strength and courage in my sobriety [sic] for the last three years."
