Now this is an awesome way to get pumped for the 2015 Super Bowl!
In honor of the 20th anniversary of Montell Jordan's super-famous hit song "This Is How We Do It," Pepsi enlisted the help of the 46-year-old singer for their annual "Hyped for Halftime" campaign.
With Jordan in tow, Pepsi gathered up a bunch of football fans from Oakdale, Minn. for a nostalgic performance party at a local Buffalo Wild Wings. In a video of the gig, Montell pops out during the party and performs "This Is How We Do It" for the surprised Super Bowl fans.
Jordan said of the surprise performance, "It's always shocking, even after 20 years, the impact that the song has on people. You see people who are grandmas and you see young kids hear the song and somehow they know it. Fortunately it's one of those songs that has transcended through time, and whether you're more mature or whether you're a newbie to music, somehow that song transcends those different genres of color and age. It's become of staple of music in America and around the world."
