They have kept their romance pretty low key, so it's no surprise that George Clooney and Amal Clooney kept her birthday celebrations intimate, too!

The A-list hunk and his human rights lawyer wife had an intimate dinner at home with some friends, including Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber, to ring in Amal's 37th birthday, People reports.

"We just had a dinner with a small group of close friends at George's house," Gerber told the mag. He also dished that the Tomorrowland star is "always doing special things" for Amal. We can imagine!

After hearing him gush over his bride at the Golden Globes, nothing would surprise us when it comes to George's love for Amal.

"It's a humbling thing when you find someone to love," he said while accepting the Cecil B. DeMille award last month. "Even better when you've been waiting your whole life ... Amal, whatever alchemy brought us together, I couldn't be prouder to be your husband."

And it was in that moment that our faith in love was restored!

With Amal's busy schedule, we can imagine all she wanted was a relaxed dinner at home. She has been busy representing Armenia in a trial about genocide denial, but when someone asked her about her wardrobe while preparing for the intense court case, she gave the best response: "I'm wearing Ede & Ravenscroft."

Ede & Ravenscroft manufacture legal robes LOL!

She is also representing jailed journalist Mohamed Fahmy, so her evening at home with her friends was probably just what she needed. Gerber and Crawford also attended George and Amal's wedding in September and have been besties with him for many years.
