Well, sort of—Katy Perry stepped out at the 2015 Grammy Awards rocking a bright new lavender hue. And the pop star must've just swapped hair hues, as she was spotted over the weekend rocking her signature jet black hue. True, Katy's no stranger to purple hair—or blue, green or pink hues—but it's been a while since the 30-year-old's rocked a softer lavender shade.
Hair aside, Katy's eye catching ensemble was not to be missed. The "Roar" singer mesmerized in a glittering beaded Zuhair Murad design—"fresh from the Paris runway," she told E! News.
"I just want to shine bright like a diamond!" Katy said jokingly to Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet, alluding to pal Rihanna's catchy "Diamonds" tune. And shine bright she did—just look at that sheer crystal number!
And while purple locks may not be for the faint of heart, KP knows how to rock the hue like a pro. Our only critique: That Left Shark did not attend as her date!
