According to divorce documents obtained by People, the 52-year-old funny lady cited "an irretrievably broken relationship" as the reason for the split. O'Donnell and Rounds, who married back in June 2012, have a prenuptial agreement.
The divorce filing comes three weeks after O'Donnell announced that she and Rounds had split up several months ago. "I can confirm that Rosie and her wife Michelle split in November," her rep said in a statement earlier this month.
"Rosie has teens and an infant at home that need her attention," the rep added. "This has been a very stressful situation. She is putting her personal health and family first. ABC has been wonderfully understanding and supportive of her personal decision to leave The View. Next week will be her last."
And just six days after the big breakup announcement, O'Donnell said goodbye to The View once again.
"I just want to say thank you to the cast and the crew and mostly to Barbara Walters who has always looked out for me in my life and career and is an amazing woman," O'Donnell said during the Feb. 12 episode, her final one. "We had lunch yesterday. She sends her love."
