Time to get turnt this weekend! (And by that we mean turning your clocks one hour forward at 2 a.m. Sunday.)

Quick recap: Daylight Saving Time is a thing, and this Sunday we "spring forward," losing an hour, so we can enjoy those later summertime nights. We're not here to discuss the history or debate the merits of this event—because we're already losing an hour this week and we don't need to lose more hours reading almanacs—but we do want to talk about how we plan to spend our time now that it's staying lighter later.

You know when you text your booty call back on those chilly winter nights with "hey, it's dark and cold outside so I'm spooning my cat and Domino's 5 for $5 instead of you?" Well, now you can actually put on pants and leave the house and have a life! That's exciting (???)

More sunlight hours gives us more time to do great things (or more of the same), so let's celebrate our emergence from this winter hibernation. This is how you can use those longer evenings...

1. It's still possible to waste all your time on the Internet. Who cares what's happening outside, screens are always illuminated!

2. More sun means more natural lighting for great selfies—who doesn't want more time to document their face in slightly different settings?!

3. Apply sunscreen and stay inside as much as possible. UV rays in moderation, y'all!

4. Consider the insane possibility of maintaining human friendships and relationships in person, not just via text. HAHAHAHAHA, JK.

5. Actually leave your home to get takeout, instead of delivery. Hot tip: If your pizza guy is super-attractive, do not do this.

6. Exercise more. Like walk from your neighborhood Cold Stone Creamery back to your car to eat your Cold Stone Creamery.

7. Procrastinate on yardwork.

8. Turn your indoor drinking into outdoor drinking.

9. Pretend to get into sports.

10. That guy you started dating after the New Year? See what he actually looks like in sunlight. Make sure he's not a vampire. Good luck!
