Kelly Clarkson got candid on Watch What Happens Live Thursday!

The "Heartbeat Song" singer agreed to play a round of Plead the Fifth, a game in which she could only refuse to answer one of Andy Cohen's three questions. "In your opinion, whose Sound of Music performance was better—?" he asked. Clarkson shouted Julie Andrews' name before he could finish.

"—Carrie Underwood in The Sound of Music Live! or Lady Gaga at the Oscars?" Cohen continued.

"Well, those are completely different! Right? Lady Gaga went more theatrical, and Carrie Underwood—oh, wait! She did The Sound of the Music. She did. She did that. Um...oh! They're both so different," the three-time Grammy winner said. "I'm gonna say—I loved Lady Gaga's—I'm only going to say Carrie's just because she did the whole thing, so I got to see a little bit more in-depth. But I loved Lady Gaga's! I did!"

Cohen asked about another diva for his second question.

"Would you still liken Miley Cyrus' singing to a "pitchy stripper," or has she been able to—"

Clarkson cut Cohen off again, but this time, it was to clear something up. "I never said Miley Cyrus! The fact that I tweeted 'pitchy stripper' and people thought Miley Cyrus is not my problem. I'm just saying!"

Cohen noted that she tweeted during the VMAs. Clarkson replied, "Never said Miley Cyrus, my man!"

The host mentioned that Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj performed that night, and Clarkson called them "lovely" girls. (Cohen was confused, as Minaj didn't appear at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.) "I never said Miley Cyrus! Everybody else said Miley Cyrus when I did that," she said. "That's not my fault!"

"Was it not Miley Cyrus?" Cohen prodded. The "Behind These Hazel Eyes" singer replied, "I am not saying who it was because if I say it's not, then you're going to guess somebody else! You're trying to manipulate me! I'm going to drink more. Soon I'll say the truth, and then I can blame it on the alcohol!"

For his third and final question, Cohen got nostalgic. "Last year Justin Guarini made some comments in his one man show, Lovesick, that you two had a fling going on during your feature film, From Justin to Kelly. Set the record straight," he instructed. "What happened between the two of you: second base—?"

Clarkson guffawed at the question. "We didn't date during Idol, which everybody thought we were dating. We did date during...I feel like we weren't dating during the movie. But I feel like maybe we did. We did date a little bit," the pop star explained. "I think any two people who are thrown together that much [would eventually date]. 'Timeless,' you put that song on From Justin to Kelly—you can't fight it!"

In the same episode, Cohen put on a wig and convinced Clarkson to reenact scenes from that very film, saying, "Let's reboot the movie and see if we can't make you love it! It's time for Clubhouse Playhouse!"
