Who knew the ballroom could bring families together?!

As Dancing With the Stars kicked off a brand-new season Monday night, our eyes were captivated on Rumer Willis' steps on the dance floor.

While the actress and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy nailed the foxtrot on the first night, we couldn't help but notice the famous faces cheering on the pair in the audience.

Bruce Willis and ex-wife Demi Moore were both seated near the front-row to watch their daughter's performance. In fact, Bruce brought his new wife Emma Hemming who sat alongside Tallulah Willis and Scout Willis. That's five big votes right there, right?!

"She's just really excited and supportive," Rumer recently shared with E! News when asked how mama Demi reacted to her joining the show. "I think that's the most important thing that anybody can ask for, is just the support and love from your family." Awww.

And don't underestimate the excitement of Bruce. After all, he had a little dance number in the classic Moonlighting series.

"He was very excited," she confessed to E! News days before the big premiere. "He's really a softie, which most people don't know but he was excited." He also was a bit protective of his baby girl. Several times during the show, Val kissed his partner on the forehead even though Bruce was watching.

"You could see Bruce glaring at him, it was kind of funny," an eyewitness shared with E! News. "He looked like he wanted to say, ‘Hey, that's enough.'" LOL!

While anything can happen in the ballroom, Rumer hopes America will be impressed with her progress and dancing shoes to advance her far into the competition.

"It seems like such an amazing opportunity and you really have to work hard and push yourself and I'm constantly looking for opportunities to grow and push myself in different ways," she explained. "This is kind of perfect timing."
