The View might want Jenny McCarthy back, but Jenny doesn't want The View!

She and her husband Donnie Wahlberg stopped by the Howard Stern Show and the couple revealed that after she was booted off the show a producer gave her a call to gauge her interest in returning to the talk show. But while Jenny remained relatively quiet about the situation her husband was more than happy to dish the facts.

"She's very gracious about The View, and I will say, I told her the day she left, 'They're gonna ask you back within six months,'" the Wahlburgers star told Howard Stern. "And she won't say it, but they did. Not officially, but they did."

His wife then elaborated, saying, "One of the producers called and said would I ever consider it? And I said, 'No, thank you.' Because I couldn't be me."

Jenny, who now has her own radio show on SiriusXM called Dirty, Sexy, Funny, said she couldn't be happier because she has finally found a place where she could act like herself and not make any compromises. "I've never been more happy with a job in my entire life than being here. I get to be myself," she said.

But that doesn't mean she hasn't thought about the future of her former place of employment. She revealed her prediction for The View during her interview, and if it turns out to be true, well that would be quite bleak.

"I think they might try one more year and then I think the Titanic might go down," she said.

Prior to her official departure, Jenny told audiences that she was "grateful" for her time on the lady-led talk show.

"All I can say is, wow, I am grateful," Jenny said before the show aired some of her best clips. "Second, I've continued to do what I've tried to do in any situation I have found myself in, which is to learn. I've learned from my mentor Barbara Walters and also from my dear friend, Sherri Shepherd."

Shepherd departed The View after seven years on the show
