Arrow's Stephen Amell is getting in on some Turtle Action!

The 33-year-old hottie, best known for his current title role on the CW superhero series Arrow, will play another fan favorite masked vigilante on the big screen: He has been cast as Casey Jones in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel, the follow-up to a 2014 reboot.

The character is a vigilante who wears a hockey mask and is an ally of the Turtles. Elias Koteas played him in the first big screen live-action TMNT film, which was released in 1990 (pictured above). Upon seeing Jones, Michelangelo comments, "Wayne Gretzky...on steroids?"

"Somebody find me a hockey mask!!! ," Amell tweeted on Tuesday, alongside a fan-made illustration of Jones.

Jones appears in more than 200 issues of the various TMNT comics, on which the movies—and a slew of animated TV shows—are based. He also serves as a love interest of heroine and TV news reporter April O'Neil, who Megan Fox played in the 2014 film.

Jones also has quite the mouth on him.

Fox is reprising her role in the sequel and Will Arnett, who played her character's cameraman Vernon Fenwick, is also returning. Michael Bay will again serve as a producer, Variety reported on Tuesday.

The outlet also said David Green is directing the new movie. Jonathan Liebesman, who helmed the 2014 film, had last year named Jones as one of the characters he would like to include in a future Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles installment, while producer Andrew Form mentioned mutant duo Bebop and Rocksteady, henchmen of the villain Shredder, according to Screen Rant.

Amell's casting follows confirmation that Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio , 33, will make her first major big screen debut in the film, following a cameo in the 2006 remake of the James Bond film Casino Royale.

Ambrosio and Arnett were photographed hanging out at a New York Knicks vs. Los Angeles Clippers game at Madison Square Garden last week. Producers have not commented.

Several NBA players are set to make a cameo in the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, according to team guard J.J. Reddick, who also appeared to give away the title in an interview last weel.

"Later this afternoon, the five of us, along with five Knicks players are going to be back at MSG and we're going to be filming a scene for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel, Half Shell," he said on the Grantland Podcast The Lowe Post, adding, "I probably shouldn't say that."
