Why did Idina Menzel decide to dye her hair blond back in March?
Let's just say it had nothing to do with Frozen!
"They say I did it because I was inspired by my Elsa character, which I found very insulting," Idina said earlier today on Good Day L.A. "That I would wake up one day and want to be blond, so I could look like an animated character...I just never, ever do anything with my hair and I finished my Broadway show. Eight shows a week, same thing."
The 43-year-old then pointed to video of her character Elsa and joked sarcastically, "I look just like her! Oh Elsa, thank you so much. We're exactly the same aren't we? Those skinny balletic arms and that tiny waist."
LOL.
In addition to stopping by Good Day L.A., Menzel also appeared on the Late Late Show last night where she talked about the first time she met President Barack Obama and his family. "I sang for them at the White House," Menzel said. "I was singing ‘Defying Gravity' from Wicked and I was literally spitting on the president, the first lady and their two kids."
"When you have to really sing the high notes it comes out and you can't help it!" Menzel explained. "It was humiliating."
