You'd be hard to find a music fan who doesn't immediately recognize the iconic cover for Nirvana's 1991 album Nevermind.

The image of a naked baby swimming underwear is pretty much a bona fide part of rock history.

Now the Modern Rocks gallery in Austin has unearthed a ton more behind-the-cenes photos from the band's Nevermind photo shoot! The images feature Kurt Cobain and his band-mates playing around under water in that infamous pool. The guys pretend to play instruments while getting wet and wild during the shoot.

As for why the more than 200 images haven't been seen until today, photographer Kirk Weddle told Modern Rocks, "I've just kept them stacked in a closet, unorganized."
