So you still want to believe? Good because The X-Files is back in production and we're getting serious feels from the teasers Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny and series creator and executive producer Chris Carter have been sharing across social media. It's a new day for The X-Files, the first time the series will be on the air with Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in full swing and the cast and crew are taking advantage of it. Just look at the photo Anderson tweeted as production kicked off. Chills. Yes, from chairs.
"And so it begins..." she said.

Anderson, you may know her as Dr. Dana Scully, also shared this snapshot of her new ‘do. Everybody with us do their best Mulder: "Sculllllyyyyyyy!"
Carter made his debut on Instagram with this image. Spoilers: UFOs will be part of the new season!
Not to be outdone, Duchovny has shared his own snaps, both on the way to set and while he was getting readjusted to life as Special Agent Fox Mulder.
"Hello Vancouver ? Mulder? Here I come..." he tweeted. When we caught up with the actor in May, he said he wasn't sure how he'd slip back into the beloved role.
"Sometimes I think I'll put on the suit and I'll feel that way or I'll look in the mirror or I'll see Gillian—we'll see," he said.
The X-Files returns for six new episodes this coming January on Fox. Along for the ride with Anderson and Duchovny are Joel McHale—he'll play a new ally for Mulder—and Mitch Pileggi as Skinner.
