Count Caitlyn Jenner among those who has discovered some poignant food for thought within the pages of her epic Vanity Fair cover story.

"Reading the VF article reminded me of the love & good times Kris & I shared for so many years. Wouldn't trade that time for anything!" she tweeted Friday afternoon, Caitlyn's first time commenting on ex-wife Kris Jenner since her interview with Diane Sawyer (which was taped in February) aired in April and her subsequent debut on VF's July cover.

The duo, who are parents to Kendall and Kylie Jenner together, were married for 22 years before separating in 2013.

After the Sawyer interview, Kris—who's currently in Paris—tweeted back in April, "Not only was I able to call him my husband for 25 years and father of my children, I am now able to call him my hero."

(With the release of her Vanity Fair cover, Jenner has chosen to identify publicly as a woman and E! News will refer to her using female pronouns. In stories published before this date, she was referred to as Bruce Jenner and male pronouns were used.)

Caitlyn told VF how she had watched the interview twice, once with Kris, Kylie, Kendall and all the Kardashian kids, and again with her four children from her first two marriages.

In the VF story, it was apparent that there was some disagreement between Kris and Caitlyn as to who knew what, and when.

"When I met Bruce, he told me that he had done hormones back in the early ‘80s," Kris told the magazine. "This was a conversation that took place in the early ‘90s. So, what he was telling me happened a decade earlier, and he never really explained it…Nobody mentioned a gender issue."

Caitlyn acknowledged to the mag, "Probably a mistake I made was maybe not having [Kris] understand—not the severity of it but that this is a condition you cannot get away from. From that standpoint, maybe I blew it away a little bit, sort of ‘This is what I do.'"
