So, on Sunday just hours before the red carpet premiere in Berlin, Germany, the actress took the plunge and let her hairstylist Alex Polillo chop off several inches. The result: Easily one of the chicest bobs we've seen all year—and that's saying something since there have been dozens and dozens on chin-length cuts in 2015.
Apparently The Game of Thrones star is just as much in love with her fresh crop as we are, because the 28-year-old immediately took to Instagram and shouted out Polillo for "bringing sexy back." She also gushed about her glam squad in another post, thanking them for: "Making me feel like a real life queen, badass style."
But the best part of this mini makeover? It's only just begun. Yes, the sometimes Mother of Dragons has at least a full week of red carpets, press junkets, and interviews to attend before her action flick's release on July 1—which means we'll be enjoying a seemingly endless supply of short hair inspiration for the rest of the month.
