This is toe-tally not okay. 

There's not a lot ladies won't do when it comes to pretty peep toes, and Nina Dobrev is no exception. Which is why we sympathize with the brunette beauty—her platinum lace-up heels were worthy of a Carrie Bradshaw jaw-drop, and there was no way she was going to let something like the stilettos having a narrow-opening prevent her from wearing them.

Like a true fashion trooper, the former Vampire Diaries star squeezed her pedicured toes into the stylish footwear. And while, yes, the shoes are show-stopping, we couldn't help but feel Nina's pain. Ouch! 

Painful heels aside, the 26-year-old's look for Leonardo DiCaprio's A-list packed gala in St. Tropez, France qualified as a breathtaking moment. Nina dressed to the occasion in an elegant white Reem Acra design with a décolletage-bearing neckline and sleek metallic embroidery outlining the bodice. Surprisingly enough, though, the gown disguised her sleek stilettos behind its floor-length hem.

Hmmm, hiding the heels on the red carpet hardly makes the shoe pain worth it, but we'll tip toe around the issue for now.
