Watch: Will Bethenny Frankel Return for "RHONY" Season 8?

What a breath of fresh air Bethenny Frankel was during season seven of The Real Housewives of New York City. She was frank, funny and unapologetic, but was this a one-time thing? When Bethenny sat down with E! News on Tuesday, hours before the finale aired on Bravo, she was unsure about what's next.

"I might be willing to come back," Bethenny said. She cited the various balls she's juggling with her career and aligning dynamics in regards to picking up that golden apple once again. "I will only do it if I can do it if I can give it my all. So, I have to decide what I'm doing. I have a lot of different things going on and I really want to make sure I could commit in the same way."

PLEASE BETHENNY, DON'T LEAVE US! Who else will call the ladies, including Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan and Heather Thomson, on their behavior?

There were many fights this season, including one about an unattended naked man, one about a 28-year-old chef and one about saying "f--k," but the most absurd fight this year was about stolen dresses, according to Bethenny. And that fight continues. The battle, dubbed DressGate, continues on the reunion.

"But again, it's pure comedy," Bethenny said. "Because Ramona could just walk through the streets with me saying to her, 'You've taken two dresses,' and she can just laugh about it 'cause it did happen."

Audiences were shocked when Bethenny agreed to return to the show, but along with her return came rumors about just how much power she had. "And just to dispel anything, the fact that anyone ever thought that I had any sort of editing approval or producing power is hilarious. I came off like the biggest bitch half the season. It's not like I called Andy [Cohen] and said, 'Hi, can I look like Joan Collins in Dynasty, please, this season? I'd like to look like a real royal bitch, that's what I'm going for. Really good for business.'"

Never change, Bethenny.

The Real Housewives of New York City's reunion begins Tuesday, Aug. 18,  at 9 p.m. on Bravo.

(E! and Bravo are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
