Amy Schumer is going to have to make some more room on her trophy shelf because she has a new addition. The funnywoman took to Instagram today to share a hilarious snapshot of herself looking shocked and excited upon receiving a gold statue for—drum roll, please—Best Body!
She appropriately captioned the snapshot, "There are so many foods I want to thank."
Schumer's latest IG post is just another crack at critics who have put her weight and body image in the spotlight.
"It's very therapeutic for me to be like, ‘Yes, I'm not going to look like a malnourished bird,' and I like speaking to that, as well as speaking to my work and what I'm doing," she explained during a press conference for her film Trainwreck.
Schumer's no stranger to telling it like it is. Remember that one time she gave us that golden gem about "catching a d--k whenever I want"? LOL.
When it came time to accept her Trailblazer award during the 2015 Glamour U.K. Women of the Year Ceremony, the Inside Amy Schumer star joked about how self-confident she is.
"I'm probably, like, 160 pounds right now and I can catch a dick whenever I want," she said. "Like, that's the truth. It's not a problem."
She added, "I'm not going to apologize for who I am, and I'm going to actually love the skin that I'm in. And I'm not going to be striving for some other version of myself."
