Chrissy Teigen has shared the exciting news with her viewers!
The supermodel and new talk show co-host revealed that she and hubby John Legend are expecting their first child together earlier this month, but Teigen has now announced the happy addition with viewers of the FABLife. In a clip for Monday's episode (Oct. 26), Tyra Banks tells the audience that Chrissy has something she wants to tell everybody—she's pregnant.
"It's hard keeping a secret and I gotta thank all of you," Teigen began, and mentioned that their sound guys may have had an inkling that something was going on, "and even our sound guys who could hear me throwing up backstage every day."
Gotta love morning sickness.
Chrissy also talked about the adorable photo she posted on Instagram when she initially made the announcement, and confessed that a lot of thought went into that snapshot.
"I love that photo because it looks so natural but I'll tell you how much staging went behind that—it was a lot," she laughed. "There was a table in the background, I was like, gotta get that table out," and sweetly added, "We're really excited, we're so excited. John is really, really, really excited."
Teigen captioned the black and white pic, "John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant :) As many of you know, we've been trying to have a baby for a while now. It hasn't been easy, but we kept trying because we can't wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We're so excited that it's finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching! Xx"
Since the news broke, the beauty began sharing more updates on her pregnancy and recently shared a baby bump photo. Unfortunately, that sparked speculation from followers who began wondering if the celeb is expecting more than one baby.
"I did IVF. One at a time. It isn't twins. I can see the damn thing," she explained on Twitter. "Get out of my uterus!" She continued, "Please stop. I put one embryo in. I have ultrasounds every few days. I didn't announce [my pregnancy] at a week." A source recently confirmed to E! News that Teigen is in fact three months along.
Unfortunately, the response from followers has prompted Teigen to stop tweeting about her journey to motherhood, "No more preg tweeting for me, lesson learned!! Back to food and reality TV and hay things," she wrote.
