To say it was an emotional night on Dancing With the Stars for Nick Carter is a bit of an understatement. The Backstreet Boys member scored his first perfect score—10s all around from Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli—and he and wife Lauren also learned the gender of their baby on live TV.
Before Nick learned his wife was expecting a baby boy, he and professional partner Sharna Burgess danced to "Can't Help Falling in Love," which Nick dedicated to his wife Lauren. Nick told E! News' Sibley Scoles he was well aware this was going to be a moment that could be replayed for a lifetime.
"I wanted to make it the best it can be for my wife, my future child, for Sharna, just to make it something that we could always remember because it was so important and it was so special," he told us. "It was surreal to get the 10s—finally a perfect score! I was blown away…I'm so happy that this was the night that it happened."
