When it comes to her highly speculated relationship with Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez wants everyone to just get it right.

Rumors of a feud between the two singers been swirling since the early 2000s when the "We Belong Together" star famously told reporters she didn't know Lopez. Had it been a not-so-subtle jab at the very famous performer?

More than a decade later in 2014, the "Get Right" singer squashed the rumors on Watch What Happens Live, revealing that they in fact had never met.

"I know from back in the day, I've read things that she's said about me that were not the greatest, but we have never met. Like, we don't know each other. I think it's kind of from word of mouth of things that have happened in the past that I'm not really aware of," she told Andy Cohen at the time.

"I would love to meet her and I would love to be friends with her...I think she's incredibly talented and I've always been a fan of hers. 'My All' is one of my favorite songs of all time. I just love her. It saddens me to hear anything that's negative because I'm a fan of hers."

Still, a year after clearing things up, the rumors were rehashed when Lopez was caught at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards looking down and texting in her seat while Carey was serenading the crowd on stage, reigniting the speculation once more.

Never willing to avoid the obvious, Cohen revisited the topic when he asked Jenny from the Block what exactly was going on between them during Monday's show. It seems cameras just caught her at the wrong moment.

"First of all—that was not fair them with the texting thing," she said during a round of Plead the Fifth. "I watched a lot of it. It was a long performance. I watched most of it. I may have looked down for one second...So not fair! I was watching her the whole time."

However, the host was quick to note that the "All I Have" performer has gone to see many of her fellow pop star's Las Vegas residencies before she geared up for her own, but has yet to make an appearance at Mariah's show.

"I think last year when it started I was already here in New York filming Shades of Blue and doing Idol on the weekends—didn't have a lot of time," she explained. "Then I started preparing my own. I don't think there's been a time when I could have seen it."

While timing wasn't on Lopez's side, will she eventually take a ride over to Caesar's Palace?

"I want to see it," she admitted. "Why not!"
