Kris Humphries is getting back to business, following his split with estranged wife Kim Kardashian.

The 26-year-old baller, who held a press conference Thursday at Trump Soho Hotel in NYC to announce his new business venture with Sector Watches, finally addressed the proverbial elephant in the room—the end of his 72-day marriage to the E! reality starlet.

"I'm happy to be here," Humphries told reporters as he spoke of his endorsement deal, according to Us Weekly. "As you all know, this has been a difficult time in my life, and I'm so grateful [for] my friends at Sector for their unwavering support."

"I'm really honored to be with the Sector brand," Humphries went on. "Most of all, they really do have great watches. A portion of the sales will go to my foundation which is all set up to fight against childhood obesity and it's a really great thing."

Humphries will be the face of the luxury Italian watch company, which he tweeted about prior to the conference (his first tweet since the couple's breakup).

"Heading over to the event now to make the announcement, with my good friend Chris Del Gatto," Humphries wrote. "It's official... I'm on the Sector Team!."

So how has Humphries been holding up post-split?

While his NBA career is on hold due to the lockout, Humphries, who is currently a free agent, has been focusing on his Kris Humphries Foundation and staying in shape in the meantime.

"I continue to train every day," he continued. "I've been in the NBA for seven years and have built some great friendships. We are all working hard and getting ready… I'm ready for when it happens."

And just how much will this watch venture net him?

About $150,000, according to the mag.
