Talk about a heckuva road trip.

Road Trip star DJ Qualls hit Twitter with ranting fury Friday night, after he allegedly received a beat down courtesy of Vancouver police.

So, what did Qualls have to say about the incident?

Qualls, who was in town shooting an episode of Supernatural, claimed the trouble began when he alerted police after noticing a man punching a woman outside a café.

In the midst of the scuffle, Qualls said an officer came after him and tackled him to the ground, causing him to cut his chin.

"Just got out out of the ER, was beaten by a Vancouver Police Officer for no reason. Got stitches and released," Qualls tweeted. "Was not arrested b/c was innocent. I was handcuffed and bleeding while the cop kept saying to me, "you think youre f--king better than me?" he said, adding: Rpeatedly asked 4 his badge number and he said if I didnt shut up, I'd be taken in. Finally got a card as I was taken to hospital."

But that wasn't all. Qualls went on to give even more details about the incident and even called out the officer in question.

"Told the officer. He said if I didnt get out of there, he'd arrest me, I asked why and he tackled me, busted my face and handcuffed me," Qualls went on. "Then Taunted me for 1/2hr b4 the ambulance came. I was held, no calls, no attorney. AND I had to pay an $800 ER bill. Free healthcare, Canada? I demand an apology from Officer Brian Trklja @VancouverPD & full reimbursment of my Hospital bills. Calling internal affairs in the AM."

Qualls also urged his followers to "flood" the Vancouver police department's twitter handle with complaints.

So, what did the police department have to say about it?

"Obviously we're aware of the complaint that he's made via the media and we've reached out to him," Constable Lindsey Houghton told the Vancouver Sun. "Despite not hearing from him we've proactively started an investigation."

Outside of that statement, Houghton declined to comment any further on the incident.

UPDATE: Qualls, who feared the injuries to his face would jeopardize his Supernatural guest gig, was quickly reassured by producers and reported to work on set Monday as scheduled.

"Want to publicly thank the producers of Supernatural," he tweeted Sunday. Couldnt be more supportive & cool about a busted up face. Look forward to work Mon.
