We understand being the celebuspawn of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes might come with some pressure, but writing a book at five years old?!

In Touch magazine's December 5 issue features an article titled, "Suri: The New Dr. Seuss," saying the young doll is "currently penning her own children's book" and that her famous parents "think it's so good, they plan to publish it when she's finished."

The family also allegedly told the mag, "Suri is smart beyond her years. Not only is she writng the book, she's also working on all the illustrations. She is actually very talented for someone so young."

We're not arguing that Suri could have brains behind that beauty, but a book?! We had to find out for sure, and it looks like this rumor is...

So false!

Katie Holmes' rep tells E! News that the reports of Suri writing and illustrating a children's book are "false."

Looks like the young tot will enjoy nights of ice skating and reading Dr. Seuss for at least a couple more years, as she should.
