What's the most important factor when it comes to casting a big Hollywood movie? That's right, chemistry. And it isn't just about the steaminess between a leading man and lady. Comedic chemistry is just as important.

Need proof? We've got two exclusive Bridesmaids clips ahead of the film's DVD release next week, and one reveals just how important it was to the filmmakers that star Kristen Wiig be able to play off a real-life friend like Maya Rudolph in her role as a maid of honor being driven crazy by the stresses of an upcoming wedding.

Check out the hilarity.

"You can find someone that Kristen could pretend to be best friends with, but it's much easier if there's real history with the person she's doing it with," says producer Judd Apatow, who definitely knows a little something about solid comedy pairings. "Her [sic] and Maya have known each other for a really long time, and they just have something magical together."

We have to say that magic paid off. That undeniable chemistry catapulted the raunchy comedy to more than $160 million at the box office.

For even more good times, check out our second clip, which shows the cast and crew, um, "hard" at work as they film scenes with a reunited Wilson Phillips. The days of filming may be long, but we'd take that job anyday.
