Will we see a musical episode of The Good Wife? It's a fair question, seeing as half of the casting announcements CBS has rolled out about their hit drama include Tony winners!

Nathan Lane, Kristin Chenoweth, Maura Tierney and Marc Warren have all been cast in pivotal guest spots on The Good Wife's fourth season. So who's playing what? Glad you asked...

It's a guest role casting party, and The Good Wife is inviting a bunch of awesome people!

CBS announced today that Emmy and Tony Award-winning actor Nathan Lane will appear in the season-four premiere of The Good Wife, and will stick around in a recurring role. Lane will play a bottom line-obsessed manager who comes to Lockhart & Gardner to brutally cut costs and slash budgets. Unsurprisingly, the firm is not pleased with his presence.

Kristin Chenoweth (GCB, Glee, Pushing Daisies) will bring her larger-than-life blonde personality to The Good Wife in the role of a smart and savvy political reporter who's snooping around for scoop on the Florrick campaign, and everything else about Peter (Chris Noth). Like Lane, she'll also first appear in the season premiere.

So, those two will have a duet of some kind, right? Probably not, but it'd be awesome to see everyone—Julianna Margulies included—to suddenly bust into song in the middle of the courtroom.

Also joining in on the guest role fun is Maura Tierney, whose recurring role in season four is that of a self-made billionaire who Eli will be pursuing in order to get funds for Peter's campaign. Tierney's character smells a little bit like a potential love interest, because she'll be around for at least ten episodes!

Finally, Kalinda's estranged and dangerous ex-husband will be returning to raise hell in season four, and he'll be played by British actor Marc Warren, whose previous credits include Doctor Who and Band of Brothers. TVline.com was first to report the casting.

What do you guys think about all the new faces on The Good Wife next season? Are we the only ones hoping for just a smidgen of music from Lane and Chenoweth?
