Gwyneth Paltrow’s mother, Blythe Danner, recently said that she had thought from the beginning that Gwyneth was too intelligent for show business and wanted her to grow up and “…cure AIDS or something…”  When I heard this, I immediately went on Gwyneth’s GOOP website thinking I must not know what I need to know about her.  Perhaps she has some incredible things to offer.  I wasn’t disappointed.  I mean, there was no cure for AIDS, but I did get a great recipe for asparagus turnip soup and a lead on how to make a nice summer crudité.
