7 Things You Probably Didn't Know About WWE Diva Paige

Paige is definitely a Diva who stands out because she maintains her own unique identity and is totally a rebel!

The Total Divas star may seem new to the game but she's actually been wrestling since she was 13 and comes from a lineage of wrestlers in the UK. By the age of 14, Paige had wrestled in 9 different countries and was well on her way to becoming the WWE Diva that she is now!

Here are some fun facts about Paige that we bet you didn't know, like, for instance, the fact that her first ring name has something to do with Britney Spears! Read on to find out...

7. Paige isn't her real name.

Sure, some of the Divas use stage names instead of their actual names, but Paige's real name just might make you do a double-take!

Her real name is Saraya-Jade Bevis. She's named after her mom's wrestling ring name, Sweet Saraya. How cute!

6. Paige comes from a family of professional wrestlers.

Born a wrestling legacy, Paige's parents (Sweet Saraya and Ricky Knight) and two older brothers (Roy and Zak) also compete as professional wrestlers.

They also to run the WAW (World Association of Wrestling) promotion, which they established in 1994.

5. Paige's first wrestling match was at the age of 13.

When she was 10, Paige decided that she wanted to start learning to wrestler with her brothers. In 2005, she made her debut in the ring at the age of 13 by the name Britani Knight.

Fun fact: her dad came up with the name Britani because Paige's blonde hair reminded him of Britney Spears!

4. Paige was the first-ever NXT Women's Champion.

After making it to the NXT Women's Championship Tournament finals, Paige defeated WWE veteran Tamina Snuka followed by Alicia Fox (who is now one of her besties!)

Paige captured the Championship in June 2013 after beating Diva Emma to win the title!

3. Paige was featured in a documentary.

Paige and her family were the featured subjects of The Wrestlers: Fighting With My Family, a 40-minute documentary that showcased their lives as a wrestling family.

2. Paige is a two-time WWE Divas Champion.

In addition to winning the Divas Championship twice, Paige became the youngest Divas Champion in history when she beat AJ Lee at the age of 21!

And by the age of 22, Paige was ranked the #1 best singles female wrestler by Pro Wrestling Illustrated!
