Is Scrubs Officially Dunzo? Creator Bill Lawrence Weighs In on the Show's Fate
With just one more episode left in its arsenal, Scrubs 2.0 appears to be winding down, but is it really, truly ending this time around?
At first we were skeptical about its season-nine revival—the whole notion of an entirely new cast and Zach Braff-less episodes left us scratching our heads—but it ended up being a hilarious twist on the original and we instantly fell in love.
But now that show staples like Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke have booked other pilots, it's time to consider that tough question once again: Is Scrubs finally saying sayonara? If show mastermind Bill Lawrence has his way, "Scrubs is going to be on forever"...

Shannen Doherty on DWTS: Two Thumbs Up From Spelling!
Candy Spelling is confident Hollywood's reformed bad girl Shannen Doherty can waltz her way to a Dancing With the Stars disco ball trophy.
"Shannen is good at anything she wants to do, so I think she will be good at this," Spelling beamed yesterday at Debbie Durkin's Eco-Oscars Green Carpet Hospitality Lounge in Beverly Hills.
With Doherty, 36, following in the DWTS footsteps of fellow 90210 alums Ian Ziering and Jennie Garth, we just had to ask Ms. Spelling if she thinks daughter Tori will be the next West Bev grad to slip on her dancin' shoes...

Last Season's Champ Won't Be Dancing With Any Stars This Season
We interrupt the countdown to tonight's Dancing With the Stars unveiling to bring you this: Kym Johnson, who won last year's contest with Donny Osmond, will not be returning to the show for season 10, E! News has exclusively learned.
"She and her agent went after more money in her contract," says a source close to the show. Producers were "not happy they played the money game so they left her off and didn't renew her contract."
Jason Mesnick a Bachelor No More!
Do you hear that? It's ABC celebrating—Jason Mesnick didn't change his mind again!
The flip-flopping former Bachelor has married his winner second-banana soulmate Molly Malaney in a made-for-TV ceremony.
The reality romantics swapped vows Saturday as cameras rolled at the the Terranea Resort in the Los Angeles beach suburb of Rancho Palos Verdes.
"This is the happiest day of our lives," the newlyweds said in a statement to OK! magazine.
Former Bachelorettes Trista Sutter and Jillian Harris, along with their respective rose-recipients, Ryan Sutter and Ed Swiderski, witnessed the picture-perfect nuptials. Jason's son, Ty, who played a big role on The Bachelor, was also on hand. Needless to say, Mesnick's first choice and former fiancée, Melissa Rycroft, and new husband Tye Strickland didn't make an appearance.
Does Ali Want to Be the Next Bachelorette? Her Answer May Surprise You
It is the burning Bachelor question of the moment: Will Ali become the next Bachelorette? (We've heard the producers are talking about it.)
Well, we just spoke with Jake's AWOL cutie (seen pouting on his shoulder above), and while she says she is "flattered" that ABC would consider her for such a "wonderful opportunity," her answer is not what we were expecting...

ABC Cancels Ugly Betty (Amanda and Marc, We'll Miss You Most of All)
It had such potential, but potential does not success make, and so ABC has canceled Ugly Betty after four seasons. The network has also cut back this season's episode order from 22 hours to 20.
ABC boss Steve McPherson and Betty show runner Silvio Horta released a joint statement explaining the call: "We've mutually come to the difficult decision to make this Ugly Betty's final season, and are announcing now as we want to allow the show ample time to write a satisfying conclusion. We are extremely proud of this groundbreaking series, and felt it was important to give the fans a proper farewell."
So how are the castmembers reacting to this announcement? Here's what we're hearing:
Janet Jackson Rips Michael's Doc: "I Think He's Responsible"
While many of her family members have danced around the accusation, Janet Jackson isn't hiding her thoughts on who's to blame for her brother's death.
Dr. Conrad Murray is at fault for Michael Jackson's premature passing, she says.
"He was the one that was administering," she tells ABC's Robin Roberts in an exclusive interview airing Wednesday night. "I think he is responsible."
The doc is still under investigation for the death, and has admitted to giving the icon anesthetic propofol.
Placing blame isn't the only thing Miss Jackson is spilling in the rare sit-down.
"I couldn't believe it," she says, recalling June 25 and the moment she found out her brother was deceased.
Hoarse Whitney Houston & Bobbi Kristina Wake Up GMA
Someone get Whitney Houston a lozenge.
It's a good thing Good Morning America didn't choose to go live with the songbird's Central Park performance Monday. She arrived with a case of hoarseness verging on laryngitis. Thankfully, not airing the appearance until today bought the ABC morning show a little time to spread the word that the comeback show's weakness was Oprah Winfrey's fault.
According to the New York Daily News, Whitney apologized for all the vocal cracking, adding, "I'm so sorry. I did Oprah. I've been talking for so long."
Still, she pushed through, although the performances themselves were not without a dash of strangeness.

Jon Gosselin Tells Good Morning America TLC Is "Exploiting" His Plus Eight
After his almost-ex-wife's brief press tour over the past few weeks, Jon Gosselin is finally ready for a sit-down of his own.
E! News has learned exclusively that Good Morning America scored the first post-split interview with the new man-about-town. On Friday, Gosselin sat down with GMA's Chris Cuomo and chatted about Kate Gosselin, the network that started it all and his future in showbiz.
Since Kate Gosselin has remained fairly neutral when it comes to comments about Jon in her interviews, does he reciprocate the courtesy?
An source on set during the taping tells E! that Gosselin was "very open and honest" about his feelings toward Kate and even delved into his thoughts on the future of Jon & Kate Plus Eight.
"TLC has had him on a gag order and he's sick of it," says the source. "Jon basically comes right out and says he's worried the show is 'exploiting' his eight children."
He might be sick of the cameras following his family around, but that doesn't mean Jon's ready to leave the spotlight...
Rumor Patrol: Who's Dancing with the Stars This Season?

There's no tiptoeing around it, the question weighing on everyone's mind this weekend: who'll be putting on their boogie-woogie shoes for Dancing with the Stars ninth season?
That's right, we did say nine seasons.
With the announcement of the next cast just around the corner, Monday morning to be exact, we thought we'd compile a list of possible candidates for you.
Some are just rumors, some have more-or-less confirmed the news, but either way, let's play the speculation and see what we come up with...
Samantha Where? Applegate Benched for Bachelor
Looks like Christina Applegate won't be receiving a rose anytime soon.
ABC announced today that Samantha Who? will be benched to make way for the better performing Bachelor. Samantha previously aired at 9:30 on Mondays, following Dancing With the Stars. The 13th cycle of the romantic reality show took over the time slot at the beginning of January.
This temporary hold allows singleton Jason Mesnick and his lovelies to continue to get inflated episodes on Mondays from 8-10.
Fans shouldn't worry too much about Samantha When. The network hasn't set a return date for the sitcom yet, but it will most likely be soon after Mesnick awards his final rose on March 2.
But just to hold you over a bit, according to Entertainment Weekly, when the laugher does return, Golden Globe nominee Applegate will be joined by former Women's Murder Club hottie Angie Harmon as the ex-wife of Billy Zane's Funk.
Did ABC Just Cancel Pushing Daisies?!
No, no, no. A thousand times no.
This is what I can tell you hundreds of panicked fans who have emailed in this evening after hearing a fast-spreading rumor that Pushing Daisies has been canceled.
I've just checked in with very reliable and high-placed sources connected to the show, who tell me that ABC has not yet told producers the fate of the series.
Still, there is some truth to the rumor going around...
