Toronto Fashion Week: Barbie Hits the Runway

The tent in Nathan Phillips Square featured a fab pink carpet as Toronto Fashion Week kicked off with when David Dixon presented a limited-edition collection inspired by Barbie.
Dixon started the high fashion event Monday night, first presenting a signature Fall 2009 collection, followed a selection of designs which brought the iconic doll to life on the runway. The Barbie by David Dixon collection showcased modern and vintage and featured black and ivory mixed with Barbie's signature hot pink.
