It’s amazing how many compelling and momentous news events have occurred in the last seven days. And there were a few things in the Soup pages, too. Here’s what we discovered:

• Astute musical judgement isn't all Paula Abdul brings to American Idol. She's got crayons and coloring books, too.

• Tyra Banks has a special relationship with certain baked goods. Hint: Think Otis Spunkmeyer. 

• Paris Hilton has a lot of stuff. Much of it she loves.

• Sean Penn and Natalie Portman have a 21-year age gap. Why can't he find a younger woman?

• Robin Williams underwent successful heart surgery. Good thing they didn't remove his funny bone!
