Behind the Scenes of Lindsay Lohan's eHarmony Vid!

Is Lindsay Lohan's eHarmony vid a brilliant satire on bitchy know-it-all blogs like ours or a cry for help? We chitchatted with the vid's director, Eric Appel from Funny or Die, about how Linds went from melting down in tattoo parlors to blossoming as a comedy genius—in one weekend!

So how'd this all start?
She called Will Ferrell's agent and wanted to do a Funny or Die video referencing all the stuff that people have been saying about her, in a playful way. We pitched her ideas and she really liked the eHarmony one.

How was working with her? Did she get to the set without suffering from dehydration or exhaustion?

Lindsay was a blast to work with. With so much going on about her personal life in the media, people forget that she's actually a good actress with great comic timing.

So, did she bitch about Sam at all? How about smoking on the set?
I didn't really talk to her about her personal life, and I didn't see her smoking.

Hey, we had to ask! Did she refuse to "go there" with anything you guys wrote?
There's really nothing she wanted to stay away from. Everything that we wrote made it in and she actually ad-libbed a bunch of stuff herself. The line about being a threat to security guards was hers, and it was her idea to say "I'm so alone" at the end, referencing the Us Weekly cover.

Damn, maybe L2 should give up leggings and self-tanners and try a career in comedy writing instead! She's got nothing to lose.
