TLC: Jon & Kate Definitely Minus Girlfriend

Jon & Kate & Deanna Plus 8 doesn't have much of a ring to it, does it?
TLC doesn't think so, either.
Despite reports that Jon Gosselin's rumored mistress would be joining the reality show family now that he and Kate Gosselin are separating, the network promises they've signed no such deal with 23-year-old teacher Deanna Hummel.
"There are no plans to use her," a rep for TLC says in a statement. "We are in hiatus and all future episodes haven't even been planned."
The rumor was launched in today's New York Daily News, which quoted a purported insider as saying, "Deanna's role isn't expected to be big, but because she's part of Jon's life, she'll be filmed."
Somehow, we don't think that when the network decided to take time off to "regroup," figuring out how to introduce Hummel was part of their plan.
